AFM Lending Library - Library Services
Free membership is available to all Manitobans. To borrow from the library you need to reside in Manitoba, complete a membership form and be 18 years of age or older (teachers or parents can borrow on behalf of younger students). Registration requires proof of residency in Manitoba and a signature.

Videos, DVD's and kits are available for loan within Manitoba to registered borrowers only. The audiovisual collection can also be viewed in the Library. Resource can be booked in advance. (Please contact the library at the above numbers to arrange for bookings). There is no charge to borrow audiovisual material however the library patron is responsible for either picking-up or returning the material to the library or for paying the round-trip shipping costs by bus.

On request the Library staff will supply a list of resources on topics of interest. This information can be emailed, faxed, or mailed to the individual requesting it. We do not send information to third parties.

Members from rural Manitoba can have audiovisual and book resources sent out by bus. Borrowers are responsible for the round trip shipping charges. Time for shipping is added to the lending period so that rural and northern members are not penalized.

The AFM Library's print resources may be borrowed by any library in Canada. There is a $5.00 charge per book for book loans outside Manitoba. There are charges for photocopied material such as journal articles. Consult your local public, university or corporate library to borrow AFM Library materials.

AFM Library offers 2 free public internet access computer terminals at its Winnipeg site through its participation in the Community Connections Program.
