C.A.P. [ Coalition on Alcohol And Pregnancy ]
The Committee on Alcohol and Pregnancy [CAP] [ now known as the Coalition on Alcohol and Pregnancy] was originally established by the Manitoba Medical Association and AFM in 1993 to develop a Manitoba FASD network and to promote FASD initiatives in Manitoba. CAP's members represent a diverse cross-section of Individuals, groups and communities. They participate on behalf of parents [ including birth, adoptive and foster ] and professionals in the health, education, social service and correctional sectors.

The AFM Library holds the largest collection of FASD resources in the province, focusing on FASD research, prevention and awareness, as well as parenting, caregiving and educational strategies. Membership is free and available to all residents of Manitoba 18+ years of age.
